If you're all sweaty and can't focus today, you can probably blame that on Summer being on our doorstep, perspiration and inattention being typical side effects of the hot season.
Another byproduct of Summer is Moonlight Cinema - where you can grab your picnic blanket, box of vino, best mates and chill out under the starry night sky and watch a full feature length film on the massive projected screen. It's like an environmentally friendly drive-in (if you walk, cycle or take public transport there).
This year, the Moonlight Cinema season will take place in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, and Port Douglas.
With films currently at the box office, and soon to be released, plus a bunch of crowd favourites like Zoolander, Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Grease, it looks like a sweet night for the following things: date night, girls' night, family movie night, nothing good to do night and picnic night.
Another awesome thing is the price as all tickets appear to be under $20, probably because they don't have to pay heaps of people to Hoover the place once you make your popcorn mess and leave. Saying that, be responsible and clean up after yourselves - the environment will love you for it.
Tickets to listed programs are on sale now.
